The first step is to find a Realtor (Linda Chauner!). It is important to have a qualified, licensed Realtor who is knowledgeable, patient and is someone with whom you can communicate. From that point, the basic process is to locate a lender of your choosing to get pre-approved, begin looking at properties, select a home, make an offer and if that offer is accepted, go through the contingencies outlined in the contract leading up to a successful closing. Sounds simple, but there are so many steps along the way!! Negotiations, contracts, inspections, title reports, neighborhood covenants and easements are just a few. I will be there with you through each and every step.
